Victor Michael Titus 

Former School Headmaster.  Matriculated at Belgravia High in Cape Town and completed his teacher training  at the then Hewat Teacher Training College. Through part time studies he completed both his B.A. and B.Ed degrees at the University of the Western Cape. Started his teaching career in Paarl in 1969 12 years then  in Atlantis for 10 years returned to Paarl until 1996

Was very much involved with school sport where he played a leading role in establishing various organized sporting bodies. He served on the Executive of the South African Primary School Sports Association(USSASA)

Was  very active in Senior sport as player and administrator (Rugby, Cricket and Tennis). Served on the first Executive of the Present Boland Rugby Union.

Became involved with Wine and Tourism in 1997.

Assisted in starting the first black Wine company in South Africa New Beginnings Wines and later assisted with the formation of Re Mogo Wines another black owned wine company.

Obtained a Wine Diploma at the Cape Wine Academy

Travelled to Japan, Brazil, Germany, Belgium,  Netherlands and the UK several times for wine marketing.

Started his  own company Victor’s Wine Edutainment  at Nelson’s Creek. He is presently based at Domaine Brahms an award winning boutique winery in the Windmeul area. He does  Vineyard Tours, Cellar Tours and tutored  Winetastings  educating people in an entertaining way. Over the last number of years he has  dealt with various groups from pre school level up to tourism students at tertiary level.

Has  had international groups as diverse as one can get Japanese, Russian, Norwegian, German, English, Indian, French to mention a few. He easily  relates  to all of them.  Served on the Paarl Tourism Board as well as the Paarl Vintners Board of Directors.

Radio K C the community radio station in the Paarl  Region regularly invites him to talk on wine and tourism.
